Reduced activity level for the companies

The corona pandemic and the following national shutdowns have had major financial consequences worldwide. Therefore, many companies have reduced their activity levels drastically and in the light of the new economic reality, re-evaluated strategies and business models.

More time for testing and validation of 2020 release wave 1 (April - September 2020)

To address and accommodate this whole new situation, Microsoft has chosen to give customers and partners additional time to test and validate the many new capabilities and features released in the 2020 Release Wave 1.

So far, approx. 70 percent of the hundreds of updated features and new functionalities in 2020 Release Wave 1 have been released. According to the release schedule for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform 2020 Release Wave 1, the remaining updates will be rolled out in September 2020.
