Directions EMEA 2025 announcement
As is tradition, Microsoft shared exciting news about the upcoming Business Central upgrade at Directions EMEA 2025.
The upgrade will be released as part of Dynamics 365 2026 release wave 1 in early April 2026 and will feature a number of improvements designed to make it easier for businesses to work smarter, more efficiently, and more integrated.

Two annual upgrades
Microsoft is releasing two annual upgrades to Business Central. The upgrades are launching in conjunction with the start of the two annual Dynamics 365 release waves, which release improvements to all of the business apps that make up the Dynamics 365 platform.
