2025 – an eventful and productive year

In 2025, our consultants have been hard at work upgrading a range of older NAV/BC solutions to the latest version, Business Central 27. They have also implemented new systems and solved tasks that help our customers run their businesses more efficiently and seamlessly.

These efforts matter. A company’s ability to optimize operations is often closely linked to its competitiveness, its capacity to strengthen its market position, and its potential to achieve growth.

New versions of Business Central

In 2025, Microsoft continued the steady release schedule for Dynamics 365 Business Central. As part of the biannual Dynamics 365 upgrade waves in April and October, two new versions of Business Central were released during the year, BC26 and BC27.

Business Central 26

With the launch of Business Central 26 which was released with Dynamics 365 2025 release wave 1, Microsoft took the AI ​​capabilities of Business Central to the next level, not least with the introduction of intelligent agents. The AI-based agents are designed to seamlessly integrate with Business Central, adding efficiency and automation to daily business operations.

The AI ​​agents can both understand and perform complex business tasks in the Business Central environment. So whether you need to generate insightful reports, automate routine processes, or provide real-time assistance, the agents are designed to increase productivity at all levels of the business.

Business Central 27

As in recent upgrades, AI continued to be the central driver in the development of Business Central. Microsoft once again enhanced a number of core features based on advanced AI technology.

In Business Central 27, the agents were further enhanced to better understand and perform detailed and complex business tasks.

The updated AI agents help with everything from generating reports and automating routine processes to assisting users in real-time, significantly increasing productivity across the enterprise.

One of the most notable improvements is the agents’ ability to optimize accounts payable processes. They can, among other things, create purchase invoices directly from PDF files and suggest correct accounts, making the work both faster and more intuitive.

Directions 2025 in Poznań

Directions EMEA 2025 was held from 4–6 November 2025. The conference, which was the 18th edition of Directions EMEA, took place this time in Poznań, Poland.

By participating in Directions EMEA 2025, we as a Dynamics 365 partner had the opportunity to strengthen our business models and respond quickly to the latest digital trends, as well as meet our customers' expectations that we deliver innovative and effective IT solutions based on the latest technology and the latest opportunities from Microsoft.

The conference is also the place where we Dynamics 365 partners can meet to exchange experiences, gain new knowledge and be inspired by other experts.

Business Central 28

At Directions EMEA 2025 in Poznań, Microsoft traditionally presented exciting news about the upcoming upgrade of Business Central. The upgrade will be part of Dynamics 365 2026 release wave 1 and is expected to be released in early April 2026. It includes a number of improvements that will make it easier for companies to work more intelligently, efficiently and integratedly.

The feature overview for Business Central 28 – divided into two general categories – clearly reflects the focus areas of the new version: to strengthen and streamline users' everyday lives through advanced AI functions and to deliver an absolutely top-class service experience.

New logo

Business Central 28 also introduces a new logo that symbolizes both the future of the solution and Microsoft's continued evolution towards a more connected and intelligent technology platform.

The new design underscores the company's ambition to create collaborative, AI-powered experiences that seamlessly connect people, applications, and services.

AI was evolving rapidly in 2025

Artificial intelligence (AI) has once again been one of the most dominant themes in our industry this year – and for good reason. In 2025, AI development continued at an impressive pace, becoming a central driver of digital transformation.

This technological advance has created completely new business opportunities in the last few years, but at the same time requires companies to adapt and adapt. AI is already revolutionizing processes across sectors and marks the beginning of a new era where innovation, efficiency and new opportunities are in focus.

During 2025, AI was integrated even more deeply into both business systems and everyday technology. Meet the challenges of the future with new technology

A better 2025 than expected

Both the Danish and global economies have broadly performed better in 2025 than many economists had originally predicted at the beginning of the year. Global growth was revised up in the forecasts for autumn 2025 by, among others, the International Monetary Fund (IMF). So despite a number of ongoing uncertainties, such as tariff barriers and geopolitical unrest, overall economic activity has been more robust than feared at the beginning of the year.

Forecast for 2026

The global economic forecast for 2026 points to moderate growth, driven by accommodative financial conditions, but at the same time affected by significant uncertainty due to geopolitics and trade conflicts – especially the US tariff measures. The IMF expects inflation to decline, but remain at a relatively high level.

Invest in new technology and create growth

Economic uncertainty can also be an opportunity for growth if companies invest in new technology and innovative solutions. Competitiveness depends on many factors – and technological advances and streamlining of operations and business processes play a crucial role.

Companies that utilize new technology, including AI in particular, and continuously optimize their processes, are stronger in the fight for market share – both nationally and internationally. Therefore, it is important for leaders to think long-term and innovatively in order to stay ahead of developments and strengthen their position in the market.

The Danish Hospital Clowns and the Hospital Clowns in Norway The two organizations work to strengthen the joy and courage of hospitalized children so that they can better cope with their illness. The hospital clowns, who are professional and trained clowns, meet and recognize the child exactly where they are – in their anxiety, in their joy and in their boredom. The hospital clowns have a documented effect on reducing compulsion and anxiety in hospitalized children.

The Greenlandic Children's Association The Greenlandic Children's Association implements a number of projects in Greenland that support the positive resources of vulnerable children and young people and strengthen their personal, social and professional skills.. They are present in all Greenlandic towns and settlements, as well as in a number of cities in Denmark, and reach more than 1000 children and young people and their families every year. The association's projects are wide-ranging and embrace children and young people from 0-23 years of age.
